Guido Schneider, Sander Baan – Solaris EP

english version From Celle into the wide world: These days Guido Schneider is one of the major globetrotters among DJs and producers worldwide, but he began his career 15 years ago in provincial Germany. However, instead of baking bread rolls, Schneider founded his own label “Neue Welten” right from the beginning. It was a move that naturally brought him to the capital of electronic music in Berlin. What followed was a series of exciting and successful collaborations with other renowned artists, and after dissolving his label, Schneider began travelling as a sought after DJ, jetting all around the globe. It is little wonder that such a reputable DJ and producer also belongs to the diverse Highgrade family. In 2002, they were confronted with progressive music. With that inspiration, they really got the feeling for this type of the music. Over the years, they put their stamp on their type of music and came up with their own deep progressive sound. At the same time they were influenced by notable producers and DJ´s like Tarkan, Sultan and Facundo Mohrr. Continue reading

Seeing the name DJ Chus on a release is one of those reassuring marks of quality where you know that whatever lies inside is going to be something truly irresistible. And, it should go without saying, you know it’s going to be a heavily tribal affair. The master teams up with Supernova on this new release to give his Iberican trademark sound a little of that Italian tech flavour.  Italoberican Grooves gives you little room for manoeuvre. It’s a case of DANCE, or else.

Munich Disco Tech, Final Chapter The Gold Edition

Munich Disco Tech vol.14: The Final Chapter / Great Stuff Recordings All good things must come to an end. If they don’t, they eventually fizzle out unimpressively. And so just like the smartest bands who know it’s best to call it a day when they’ve hit their peak. The highlights of the previous thirteen releases have been numerous, with a huge array of talents from Ian Pooley to Ramon Tapia to Umek to James Talk to Tiger Stripes to Bass Kleph to DJ Chus featuring along the way. Here’s what this ultimate episode has in store: Continue reading
